It has been several years since we have seen a polar bear in Day 3 of an event. In 2017 we saw Brandon Shack-Harris playing in this costume and now in 2019 his buddy Eric Rodawig is carrying on the tradition in the same event . $1500 7-Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or better. After dozens of thrilling heads-up matches between legends of the felt, only one player emerged with an undefeated record. Four new bracelet winners were crowned yesterday at the 2019 World Series of Poker All-Suite Hotel & Casino, with play continuing in the WSOP Millionaire Maker today. Brett Apter overcame a 4:1 chip deficit heads-up against Russian Anatolii Zyrin to triumph in the $1,500 shootout and win $238,824. Meanwhile there was a quick conclusion to the first $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em event of the summer – always popular events these – the winner was Isaac Baron who took four hands to defeat Ong Dingxiang after play was halted the previous day. The biggest news comes from the conclusion of the largest tournament in poker history. The Big 50 was a $500 buy-in with 28,371 entries and it was Femi Fashakin who took home his first WSOP bracelet and, most importantly, $1,147,499! Both the $1500 HORSE event and the $1500 No Limit Hold ‘em 6 handed tournament come into the day heads up. Femi Fashakin has just won the largest ever live poker tournament with 28,371 players that forked up the $500 buy-in for this event. In the end Fashakin was the last man standing and with it came his first WSOP bracelet and $1,147,449 to go with it.Fashakin’s previous largest cash was just over $10,000 so it is clear how much this huge win means to him.
