20 December 2017 at the Ufa art gallery took place the opening of the first Republican art exhibition "the birth of the Republic". The exhibition was dedicated to the 100th anniversary since the formation of the Republic of Bashkortostan was the first step in the preparation of artists of Bashkortostan for the official celebration in 2019 of important historical dates. In the exhibition were submitted 170 works of painting, sculpture, graphics, decorative and applied art by 115 artists. The project involved artists from Ufa, Sterlitamak, Neftekamsk, intermountain, Ishimbay, Birsk, Ufa, Abzelilovsky, Karmaskalinsky and zianchurinskogo area.
