The Head of the world Church of the Seventh Day Adventist Ted Wilson expressed his condolences in connection with death of the prominent statesman and the first black President Nelson Mandela, who died at the age of 95 after a long illness.

In an official address to the people of South Africa Ted Wilson said that the life of Nelson Mandela, who directed great efforts to unite the people in the quest for peace, as a light in the world, being an example of forgiveness and reconciliation.

"What a joy that we can also be part of this process, reconciling himself with God and with each other through the grace of Jesus Christ, the Prince of peace. We Express our sympathy and condolences to the family of Nelson Mandela and to the citizens of South Africa," said Wilson.
