Quality assessment test on the history of Germany

This work was done in the process of quality tests on the history of Germany for the 1st year students of the faculty of OIA, in the framework of the theory of the measurement of latent variables. Test tasks are the author's character and include the job closed forms to choose one correct answer from 3-4 proposed. As experimental material was used the test results of students 06-S-3 in 2007

Testing was conducted in may 2007 with the aim of total control of the level of preparedness of students in the discipline (knowledge of the subjects). Test the form of set-off was alternative and optional form, and its use was possible by request of the students. Test consisted of 20 questions, each question was evaluated in a 2 rating points. If the sum of the scores in the test result was < 20, then the student was recommended to re-exams in the traditional form.

the Aim of the work is measured on a linear scale quality of test tasks on discipline “History of Germany”.

the Analysis of the quality of the jobs were held on the following aspects:

- the identification and exclusion of extreme test tasks;

- compatible set of test tasks;

- meet difficulties developing test the level of preparedness of students;

- uniform distribution of jobs by difficulties;

- the range of variation of the difficulty of test items;

- conformity test measurement models.
