Moscow is the first international forum of Oncology and radiology. The event, which is attended by over 2,500 specialists from Russia and abroad, dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the Moscow research oncological Institute. P. A. Herzen. A large-scale research program and a special, interdisciplinary, comprehensive format covers almost all the areas and aspects of Oncology.

In the framework of the forum are restricted subject 11 congresses, including encourtered, neuro-Oncology, photodynamic therapy, organization of health care and nursing in Oncology. Special attention is paid to the educational component – for the first time in Russia held a ESTRO school (European society of specialists in radiology, and Oncology) on topical issues of radiation therapy.

the Debate that erupted in the Congress and healthcare professionals in Oncology related to the structure of oncologic service in Russia, analyzing the duration of treatment from the onset of diagnosis, and consideration of patients with malignant neoplasms in the Federal cancer registry. According to the chief oncologist of Ministry of health, General Director of SMRC radiology Andrew Kaprina, official data on mortality from cancer may be incomplete. In particular due to the fact that experts do not always see the real picture: Oncology have not received information about the part the dead at home, still high and the percentage of diagnoses that are exhibited posthumously.

the Oncological service in Russia, successfully operating since 1945, but its structure is outdated and requires revision, noted the participants of the Congress. In particular, cancer care is often referred to drug and radiation therapy, and surgery goes to a different area of responsibility. This situation does not take into account the nature of the disease and may not have a beneficial effect on the patient, including, for sick children. Like the fact that the regulatory framework for lifetime morphological diagnostics are sorely far from the realities of today when it is the conclusion of the pathologists ' for oncologists becomes the main guide for decisions on further treatment tactics.

in addition, according to the scientist Secretary of the Association of oncologists of Russia, Deputy Director for science, mnioi. P. A. Herzen Valery Stalinskogo, today we should speak not only about the routing of patients, but also about time passing all necessary stages of the patients diagnosed with cancer. And this requires uniting the efforts of medical Director of the cancer center, chief oncologist of all regions, the overall coordination of their activities.

"In recent years managed to increase the survival rate has increased detection rates of cancer at stages 1 or 2, reduced one-year mortality. Many indicators have improved, but really good results are still far admitted Kaprin. Unfortunately, the incidence will rise. And primary care physicians, as a rule, not particularly strong in matters of careless. And in these conditions we aim to reduce mortality or at least to keep it within the same limits."

on the sidelines of the Congress, the participants talked about the isolation of the domestic developers of medical equipment from those who use it, hindering the development of the industry cumbersome system of registration of new drugs and equipment that are being used worldwide, including in the countries-Russia's partners in the EEU. And also about the impoverishment of the industry and the direct dependence of level of medicine from its funding.

However, now there is hope for improvement. More than two-thirds of funds allocated for approved in early September, the national project "Health" (964,7 billion rubles) will focus on the development of cancer care. It is planned to re-equip cancer centers and dispensaries with the replacement of heavy equipment – CT, MRI and accelerators, to create 18 Federal reference centres, to develop outpatient cancer services for prompt diagnosis. The result of the Federal program should also be a personnel problem and the creation of an integrated model of cancer care.
