In Moscow, announced the winners of the Scopus Award Russia the 2018. The award, established the largest scientific publishing house Elsevier, is awarded to the most cited and published scientists in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Russia. This year's winners of the award Scopus Award Russia were two researchers work at the ITMO University: Anvar Zakhidov, Professor the University of Texas at Dallas, head of the laboratory "Hybrid nanophotonics and optoelectronics" of the ITMO University, and Valentin, Milica, researcher at physical-technical faculty of the University, who received the award in the nomination "Young scientists".
