Shipments of crude oil via CPC marine terminal in 7 months of 2019 has grown on 2,03% – to 36.20 million tons

, shipments of crude oil through the marine terminal "Caspian pipeline consortium" (CPC) in the port of Novorossiysk in January-July 2019 amounted to 36,20 million tons, which is 2,03% higher than in the same period of the previous year (35,48 million tonnes). This follows from the statistical data provided by the press service of the CTC.

Since the beginning of this year at the CPC marine terminal loaded a 340 oil tanker that took in their tanks 36 million 201 thousand 636 tons of oil gross.

the Shipment at the terminal of the CTC in July 2019 amounted to 5 million 699 thousand 630 tons (45 million 089 993 thousand barrels) gross, processed 54 of the tanker, two oil tanker more than in June. The shipping schedule for July fully implemented.

Pipeline system, Caspian pipeline consortium (CPC) is one of the largest investment projects in the energy sector with the participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The pipeline connects oil fields in Western Kazakhstan with the marine terminal in Novorossiysk is 1,511 km. CPC Marine terminal is equipped with single point moorings allowing to load tankers safely at a significant distance from the shore, including in adverse weather conditions.

CPC Shareholders: Russian Federation (represented by JSC "AK "Transneft" – 24% and "CPC company" – 7 %) – 31%; Republic of Kazakhstan (represented by KazMunaiGaz – 19% and Kazakhstan Pipeline Ventures LLC – 1,75%) – 20,75%; Chevron Caspian Pipeline Consortium Company – 15%, LUKARCO B. V. – 12,5%, Mobil Caspian Pipeline Company – 7,5%, Rosneft-Shell Caspian Ventures Limited – 7,5%, BG Overseas Holding Limited – 2%, Eni International N. A. N. V. – 2% and Oryx Caspian Pipeline LLC – 1.75 percent.
