Karen Fleming, studying forensic identification and facial reconstruction on the skull at the University of Dundee, has restored the appearance of the woman, who lived about 2000 years ago on one of the Islands of the Outer Hebrides.

the Skull of this woman, along with five other skulls were donated to the Phrenological society of Edinburgh in 1833. Now this collection, called "the Druids with the Hebrides" is stored in the anatomical Museum of Edinburgh University. It is assumed that the owners of these skulls were the Celts lived between 55 BC up to 400 BC

the Remains of a woman were found near the town of Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis. Scientists gave her a conditional name Hilda. Karen Fleming says that at the time of death Hilde was more than 60 years and it has lost all teeth. But when you consider that the average life expectancy of her people was 31 years, that such a venerable age suggests her high position in society.
