the Remains of a woman were found near the town of Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis. Scientists gave her a conditional name Hilda. Karen Fleming says that at the time of death Hilde was more than 60 years and it has lost all teeth. But when you consider that the average life expectancy of her people was 31 years, that such a venerable age suggests her high position in society.
