Huawei announced the launch of its video service in Russia

The Chinese manufacturer of mobile devices and laptops Huawei will launch the Huawei Video in Russia and in several countries, RBC reports.

according to the representative of the company, the exact launch date is not appointed yet. Video Huawei will aggregate content across multiple viewing platforms, including the Russian, for example ivi.ru and Megogo. At the same time, Huawei has no plans to become a content producer and compete with other services, for example, Netflix or Spotify.

Huawei Video was launched in China three years ago, in 2018, the service became available in Italy and Spain. It is intended for users of mobile devices and Huawei Honor.

the preparation for the launch of the service takes place on the backdrop of the ban on Huawei working with companies from USA. Recall, the US authorities introduced Huawei in the "black list" because of the accusations of collaboration with the military and intelligence services of China, as well as in the surveillance of customers.
