Tax regime for the self-employed will be extended to all regions of Russia roughly from 1 July 2020, said first Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Anton Siluanov.
"At the end of 2019 we will examine the experience of implementing the experiment in the four pilot regions will modify the system of administration in order to minimize fiscal risks. Roughly from 1 July 2020 shall be ready to extend this tax regime to the entire country," Siluanov was quoted by the press service of the Ministry of Finance.
According to the Agency, as self-employed have registered more than 240 thousand people. As announced on 29 October, the head of the Federal tax service (FTS) of Russia Mikhail Mishustin, the status of self-employed received more than 250 thousand Russians.
currently the Ministry of Finance has prepared a bill to extend this tax regime for 19 regions of Russia. In the first place are the regions-donors and regions, which are located in the cities.
From 1 January 2020 this mode will work in St.-Petersburg, the Leningrad, Voronezh, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Rostov, Samara, Sakhalin, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen and Chelyabinsk regions and in the Krasnoyarsk and Perm regions, Nenets and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous districts, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous district - Yugra and the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Special tax regime for self-employed operating since the beginning of 2019 in four regions: Moscow, the Moscow and Kaluga regions and Tatarstan Republic. Self-employed pay tax at a rate of 4% on income received from individuals, and 6% - on income from legal entities.
