Each spring panoramakamera Yandex hitting the road: upgrade old panoramas and photograph new places. Last year during this time we have filmed more than 120 cities and towns in three countries: Russia, Belarus, and Uzbekistan.

North Caucasus

Autumn panoramakamera made a big trip to the North Caucasus. They have updated pictures of Stavropol territory and Kabardino-Balkaria, and first photographed the city of Ingushetia, Chechnya and North Ossetia.

Cities of Uzbekistan

Shooting panoramas were conducted in October–November: at this time, in Uzbekistan there is no sweltering heat, and light autumn soft. Panoramabild drove through the streets of Tashkent, and visited Bukhara, Samarkand, Khiva, Nukus, Shakhrisabz and many other ancient cities — some of them more than two and a half thousand years.

What to watch: halls of the Museum of art named after I. V. Savitsky in Nukus; the new urban Park in Tashkent and Registan square in Samarkand; the caravanserais in the Old Khiva Ark citadel in Bukhara.

Aral sea

once the Aral sea — it is located on the border of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan was the fourth largest lake by water surface area. In the 1960s, the water level began to decline, and over the years, the Aral sea is catastrophically shallow. Where once was sea bottom is now a new desert — Aralkum.

Uzbekistan became the seventh country of the panorama which are available on the Cards after Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Turkey.
